Our Story
My Journey to Pest Control
In late 2017, my wife, four children, and I returned to the US from Thailand, where we served as missionaries for six years. Before our mission, I owned a small home repair business in Greenville, SC. In 2018, a fellow church member suggested I consider a career in pest control. He had retired from Ecolab’s pest division and recommended it as a great career change. I applied, got hired, and received top-notch training and equipment from Ecolab.
My job title was Service Specialist, and I was given a new F150 and a book of commercial accounts.
Rising in the Field
My customer base grew rapidly. I took great joy in helping my customers solve tough pest issues in commercial settings like restaurants and hotels. I earned accolades such as the Service Excellence of the Year award for the Southeast Region. I participated in large fumigation projects and was the only Service Specialist in my district to receive a GRC (General Pest and Rodent Control) license from the Department of Agriculture, which positioned me to start my own pest control business.
